What This Website Is
Roofers Stoke-on-Trent is an enquiry service. We pass enquiries to a roofing firm covering your area. We do not carry out roofing work.
The Contract Is with the Roofer, Not Us
Any work you agree to is a contract between you and the roofing firm. We are not a party to it. We do not set their prices, control their schedule, supervise their work or guarantee it.
Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply against the roofing firm that does the work. That includes the right to work carried out with reasonable care and skill, within a reasonable time, and at a reasonable price where none was agreed in advance.
We Do Not Vet Contractors
We do not inspect, approve, screen or accredit the roofing firm we pass your enquiry to, and we do not claim to. You should satisfy yourself before agreeing to any work. Ask for proof of public liability insurance, an itemised written quote, and a proper business address.
Prices on This Site
We do not publish a price list for roofing work. The figures in our cost guides are researched from 2026 UK cost data and are provided as general guidance to help you judge a quote you have been given. They are not quotations, not offers, and not binding on anyone. Your actual price depends on your roof, your access, your material and what has actually failed.
Paying for Work
Never pay the full amount before work starts. A deposit for materials is normal on larger jobs.
If you pay by credit card and the job costs between £100 and £30,000, Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 may make the card provider jointly liable with the trader. Debit card payments may be recoverable through chargeback. Both are worth knowing about before you pay by bank transfer.
Liability
We provide this site in good faith. We are not liable for the acts, omissions or workmanship of any roofing firm, nor for decisions you make based on the guidance published here. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
